_{Thanks a lot for reading our newsletter! So many people are worried about how AI slop and increasing monopolization will affect the arts and what we can do about it. Supporting indie labels and getting news directly from them instead of being served by an algorithm is one way to go. Another is taking things back offline. Last Friday, we hosted a label get-together at our beloved Tennis Bar in Berlin. It’s so rewarding to see the artists get along and enjoy each other’s company.}

_{But you don’t have to be in Berlin to enjoy the music we release and to support us! We just released a new single by Nalan as well as an EP by innerinnerlife.}

^{Our latest signing innerinnerlife from Gdynia, Poland just released his new EP called IfOnly, a wonderful colelction of ambient-pop tracks including features by Josephine Moriko and dpe0. We also made 30 beautiful CDs that include two bonus tracks. We also filmed a series of short documentary videos in which he talks about his artistic process and his every day life in his adopted hometown.}

_IfOnly_{, the new EP from Tomasz Szpaderski’s innerinnerlife, recalls the 2000s Gothenburg indie pop scene of Service, Sincerely Yours, and The Radio Dept. Conceived in his grandparents’ kitchen and finished in his home studio in Gdynia, it returns to the basics of his music, blending analog and digital to capture a band’s organic exploration of sound.}

_{Amid the narcotic trip hop of}_Balmy_{, Stockholm-based Josephine Moriko sings, “I promise to accept defeat / it is a treat…Warmth is weakness, warmth is joy.” This is not tropical heat but the glacial warmth of a changed climate.}
