Nalan announces new album ‘2009’ + M&M Berlin show

Nalan - 2009

^{On April 24th, Berlin based alt-pop artist Nalan will finally release her sophomore album ‘2009’.}

<sub>"2009" is a record shaped by memory, nostalgia, and emotional distortion, a fictitious version of the year, pieced together from digicam archives, personal recollections, and the feelings that surface when looking back. Moving between intimate moments of desire and darker reflections on growing up, the album blends futuristic alt-pop with live instrumentation and electronic experimentation, continuing and expanding the sonic world of Nalan’s debut.

The album will also be available on vinyl (including a limited colour version) and as a limited CD edition.</sub>

Kissen + innerinnerlife @ 8MM Bar, Berlin March 11th

_{Kissen (live) is the solo project of singer and producer Rosie Simpkins, blending silky alternative R&B with deep bass and subtly off-kilter rhythms. We released her debut EP Homesick in 2024.}

<sub>innerinnerlife (live) is the project of Polish producer Tomasz Szpaderski, whose music drifts between ambient textures, reamped vocals and guitars, somewhere between dream pop and ambient. His EP IfOnly came out on the label late last year.

Valeria Litkatov (Yorck Street) will be DJing between the sets and after the shows.</sub>
